FRESH INGREDIENTS, FILLING MEALS & A HEALTHY START

A.D. Dolphin, the CEO of Dherbs Inc., has been involved with health and fitness since his teenage years. After his career as a professional basketball player overseas came to a close, A.D. returned to the United States, but failed to maintain the same level of activity and balanced diet. He became unhealthy and needed to make a change to prevent his health from declining. Lucky for him, he discovered the power of cleansing and a raw foods diet. He came to understand that plants are not only healing, but also possess the ability to change your taste buds and crave more healthier meals. Dherbs Kitchen is a partnership between A.D. and chefs Re and Ronnell, a raw vegan duo. This partnership gives people the opportunity to discover how creative and delicious raw vegan meals can be. Whether you take part in the Dherbs Kitchen Cleanse or just want to order a few days of raw vegan meals, plant-based eating can help improve your overall health and inspire others around you to follow in your footsteps. It’s encourage to be selfish when it comes to investing in your well-being.

WHY RAW FOODS?

Raw foods are easily digested, requiring only 24-36 hours for transit time through the digestive tract, as compared to 40-100 hours for cooked foods. This increases the threat of putrefaction and disease. When you eat cooked carbohydrates, proteins and fats, you are consuming numerous mutagenic (carcinogenic) agents, which are harmful to healthy cells. Raw food provides more strength, energy and stamina for your body, while aiding the mind in memory and power of concentration. You'll feel more alert, think sharper and more logically.

Raw foods will not leave you feeling tired and sleepy as opposed to a fully cooked meal. On the contrary you'll have more restful nights and pleasant dreams. When food is cooked above 118˚F for three minutes or longer, its protein has become coagulated, its sugar more caramelized, its natural fibers have been broken down, which means it will take longer to move through the intestinal tract. As a result, 30% to 50% percent of its vitamins and minerals have been eliminated and 100% of its enzymes have been destroyed. Cooked food depletes our body’s enzyme potential, draining the energy we need to maintain and repair our tissues, and organ systems, therefore shortening our lifespan.
